10/01/2022: First Let's Play Published!

Wow, it's actually real now. It's so weird to finally have something published on the internet. Like, Neocities counts, for sure, but YouTube is much more well-known, and it's so strange to see my footage and hear my voice on The Web. Honestly, it's a lot of fun to hear it out in the world. My jokes are very much so fun to listen to while I'm making my blog. We have some more raw footage, so with some editing, more will come out.

We played Super Mario Odyssey, and I feel like it's honestly a good game to start with. Its casual, quick gameplay lends itself to fun conversation without much distraction for the players, giving us the flexibility to do a more podcast-style commentary. Additionally, the whole game is meant to be an adventure in a whole new world, and since this is our first step into Let's Plays, it feels very apropos.

My partner, Dorkowls, was my Player 2 on this playthrough, and it was awesome to hang out with him and share our experience with everyone! We switched off every ~5 minutes or so, and it was a great adventure! We'll be recording more in the future, and we'll upload when we can. We're not super experienced with this process, so we don't plan on having a schedule for now. I'll share when new episodes come out on this website and link them / embed them in the Let's Play section as time goes on.

Today's Final Thoughts:

I'm excited to publish more! It's actually a lot of of fun. As I learn more, I hope to add more tutorials so that other people might have an easier time starting their own channels. It's tricky to find all of the information in one spot, and it often costs a lot of money in hardware and software, so I want to keep things open source, beginner-friendly, and accessibly-priced if not free.
