Cat Intro
CA: I have four cats!
CA: And I love talking about them.
CA: Each of them are named after a Pokemon, and I wanna talk about them!

Pikachu: Adoption Story
CA: Pikachu is the big brother of the group, large and in charge.
CA: We adopted him in September 2019 while my leg was broken.
CA: My partner went to PetSmart to grab some frozen mice for our pet ball python, Monty, because I couldn't go at the time (on account of the aforementioned broken leg).
CA: When they came home that evening, they mentioned that there were two cats up for adoption, one named Mewtwo (my favorite Pokemon!) and one named Pikachu.
CA: I immediately started cleaning up the bedroom to welcome home a new kitty; I was not about to live another day without a cat in my life.
CA: I had wanted a cat since I was five years old, and we were in a good situation to adopt at that point in our lives, so we went to PetSmart first thing the next morning to adopt a kitty.
CA: When we got there, Mewtwo had already been adopted, so we decided to see if Pikachu would be a good fit.
CA: We got to play with the smallest, most timid, sweetest, most adorable tiny little orange tabby cat in the world.
CA: And we brought him home that very same day.
CA: Pikachu is still a little timid mama's boy, following us around the house into whatever room we're currently in, and his favorite thing in the world is to take a nap with us whenever we're laying down in bed.
CA: He sleeps by my head a lot of the time, like he did when he was a kitten, and I love the hell out of him.
CA: He's a very large, hefty boy, clocking in at around 16 pounds, and he has a little crook in his tail that makes the tip of it bend a little to his right, making his tail zig-zag a little bit like his namesake, Pikachu!

Dedenne: Adoption Story
CA: Dedenne is the fluffiest grey tabby I know.
CA: She is a cat's cat; playful, curious, loves a good scratch on her terms, and meows and trills to let us know how she's doing and what she's feeling.
CA: She showed up as a stray while my leg was broken a second time, and she was being taken care of by many other members of the apartment complex, capturing hearts as easy as she breathed.
CA: Several of us theorized that she may have been dumped since she was so friendly and because many of us thought that she was pregnant at the time.
CA: One of the neighbors took her to the vet, and she was checked out, and she wasn't chipped nor was he spayed.
CA: We eventually took her in, got her spayed when the local shelter was doing a reduced pay spay day, and she has been an adorable fluffy menace ever since.
CA: For the longest time, she was a menace to her older brother, but now that she has little siblings, she's learning what being an older sister is like.
CA: We named her Dedenne because she showed up to us on my partner's birthday, like a lovely little fairy here to brighten our lives.

Plusle and Minun: Adoption Story
CA: Like in the games, Plusle and Minun are a package deal!
CA: Both sweet orange-and-white tabby kittens showed up at my partner's mother's house's shed one delightful summer's day, and it seems like they have been taking care of each other since they were weened.
CA: Where one wanders, the other is not usually too far behind, and yet like many siblings, they are total opposites in some ways.
CA: Plusle is a small girl who is firey, curious, and territorial.
CA: Minun is a long boy who is mousey, shy, and friendly.
CA: We adopted them because my partner's mom is allergic to cats, and we already had a lot of experience with cats by this point.
CA: No broken leg required this time!
